Excellence in Equestrian
NHHSET competition is a spring school sport. The season begins on October 1st and ends on June 30th the following year after the State Championship in May. Students compete at meets in walk-trot, open beginner walk-trot, walk-trot-canter, team classes and in-hand classes. Classes are offered in English, Western, Dressage, Jumping, Games and Trail.
Our Passion For Horsemanship
New Hampshire High School Equestrian Teams (NHHSET) is dedicated to promoting and organizing equestrian competition in high school athletic or activity programs. NHHSET will support, challenge and offer recognition to the dedicated students who both physically and mentally pursue the challenge of the equine sport.

Important Dates
OCT 01
Season Kickoff
The official start of the spring equestrian season. All team registrations must be finalized by this date. Team registration ends January 10, 2027.
FEB 01
Participant Registration
Each participant can register online for their team and select their classes. Participant registration ends March 1, 2027.
APR & MAY
Horse Shows
Three regular season shows where teams accumulate points, followed by the State Championship horse show where winners for the season are announced.
